Before Your Cleaning

We want you to get the most out of your cleaning! A little preparation helps our team spend more time cleaning and less time moving belongings around. Here's what we recommend before your appointment.

1. Pick Up Clutter and Personal Belongings

Please pick up clothing, toys, papers, and other personal items from floors, countertops, and surfaces you'd like cleaned.

You don't need to clean before we arrive! We just ask that the areas we're cleaning are reasonably accessible. Our service focuses on cleaning rather than organizing or decluttering. Excessive clutter may limit which areas we can reach or how much we can complete during the scheduled time.

2. Put Away Valuables and Fragile Items

We recommend putting away jewelry, cash, important documents, fragile decorations, and other valuable or delicate belongings before your cleaning. This helps protect your belongings and allows our cleaners to work more efficiently.

3. Make Arrangements for Pets

We love pets! However, unfamiliar people and cleaning equipment can sometimes make animals nervous. Please make sure pets are safely secured or kept in a comfortable area away from the cleaning. Let us know in advance if there are any special considerations involving your pets.

4. Let Us Know About Your Priorities

If you have specific areas that need extra attention, please let us know before your cleaning or during the initial walkthrough.

Our team follows the cleaning checklist for the service you've booked. Requests outside the included checklist may require additional time or may not be part of the services we offer.

5. Be Available for Your First Cleaning

For your first appointment, we ask that someone be home for both an initial walkthrough and a final walkthrough with our cleaners.

Initial Walkthrough: Before starting, our cleaners will walk through the home with you to review the areas being cleaned, discuss your priorities, assess the condition of the home, and confirm that the scheduled cleaning time is appropriate. If additional time is needed, we'll discuss it with you before proceeding with any additional charges.

Final Walkthrough: Before leaving, our cleaners will walk through the home with you again to make sure you're happy with the results and address anything that may have been missed.

For future recurring cleanings, you don't need to be home as long as our team has a reliable way to access your home.

6. Cleaning Supplies and Equipment

You don't need to provide anything! Our cleaners bring their own cleaning supplies and equipment.

If you have any special requests involving cleaning products, please discuss them with us in advance.

7. Payment

Payment is due at the time of service. We'll provide payment instructions when your cleaning is completed.
